A subsidiy has rapidly become available for northern entrepreneurs and knowledge institutions to come up with creative and innovative solutions to cope with the consequences of the corona virus (COVID 19). But how do you make efficient use of this subsidy option, how do we come up with the best solutions together? The LIFE Cooperative and Samenwerkingsverband Noord-Nederland (SNN) are therefore organizing a webinar on Thursday, April 16, about this new subsidy, in which entrepreneurs and knowledge institutions will get the answers on their questions.
The LIFE Cooperative would like to support the affiliated entrepreneurs in drawing up a good application and is therefore organizing this webinar together with SNN. Ton Vries, director LIFE Cooperative: “A lot of expertise in the North is available within the LIFE Cooperative. The existing short lines and innovative mindset results in that we can mobilize quickly from the cooperative, offer help and cooperate to combat the consequences for health and the economy. ” This COVID-19 grant of a total of 1 million has been made available by the three northern provinces and SNN.
Act fast
The entrepreneurs that are united in the LIFE Cooperative are ideally suited to come up with those innovative solutions that are so desired. In order to provide interested members with answers quickly, safely and efficiently, the LIFE Cooperative therefore decided to organize a webinar on Thursday 16 April, from 2.30 pm to 4 pm, together with subsidy provider SNN and partner Campus Groningen. Fast action is necessary, because the application was already open on Friday, April 10. Entrepreneurs and knowledge institutions can submit their application until Thursday 30 April.
Participate in the webinar
The webinar can be followed via a Youtube live stream via the following link: https://youtu.be/Kr26weXIkoI. It is possible to ask questions during the webinar via the Youtube Live Chat. These questions will be answered quickly by the hosts of the webinar. The most frequently asked questions are also collected by the speakers of the webinar. The answers to these questions can be found on the website of Campus Groningen.
How does the subsidy work?
Applications for the "COVID-19 grant" can be submitted from Friday April 10th to Thursday April 30th. Companies can submit a shortened project plan and an accelerated assessment procedure will take place. The following also applies: the best projects receive a subsidy. In the assessment criteria, SNN mainly takes into account the degree of innovation of the research or solution, the social impact of the project and the period during which the project actually leads to concrete results. All this is directly related to the health crisis caused by the corona virus.
