SNN has given a positive assessment of the open innovation application 'Open Diagnostics Ecosystem' from the LIFE Cooperative. For several years now, Campus Groningen Management BV has been supporting the LIFE Cooperative in realizing its innovative and regional economic ambitions, including in the application for the Open Diagnostics Ecosystem.

Unique infrastructure

Ton Vries, chairman LIFE Cooperative; “It was 2017 when we first thought of the idea to start a large open innovation project around diagnostics from the LIFE cooperative together with Campus Groningen Management. And in the end, after collecting a lot of input and connecting the right parties, we succeeded. Looking back, we have jointly created a portal (innovation accelerator) and a fund for drug discovery, a portal for medical technology at the beginning of this year and now put diagnostics on the map together. The whole picture has been completed. It costs a lot of effort, but then there is really a unique infrastructure that we can be proud of. ”
